They're liking our beer there ...
Invercargill Brewery was among the Kiwi Breweries to triumph at the Australian International Beer Awards for 2012.
Our summer seasonal Boysenbeery fruit beer won a silver medal, a nice synergy with Saison’s silver medal in 2011.
While Pitch Black, always a consistant player, won its third consecutive Bronze medal in the sweet stout category – a good showing for a stout which actually sits outside traditional categories.
In 2012 AIBA recieved 1,344 entries from 258 breweries across 41 countries.
A third Invercargill Brewery manufactured beer, Yeastie Boys ‘Gunamatta’ took out the People’s Choice Awards at the Great Australian Beer Spectacular the previous weekend.
